Developed for an independent specialist tunner our
sports system for the new 1.6 Turbo Petrol Insignia is a great
example of the bespoke service QuickSilver can offer.
This 2 box straight
through design removes the near side rear box and only weighs 13.4
kilos saving a total of 8.2 kilos. The system is mandrel bent
stainless steel in construction with a bigger bore
throughout offering a much more free flowing unit that emits a
greater variation in pitch when working through the gears in
relation to throttle position.
This allows a refined sporty note
when required or muscular rasp when opened up.
The System improves throttle
response, removes unnecessary weight and has a bigger perthed tip to
finish this sporty bolt on package for this new era of the small
engined fast car.
